Coach of Arsenal, Arsene Wenger has been named as the Barclays premiership manager of the month of March.
Also Arsenal striker Oliver Giroud has been named as the Barclays premiership player of the month of March.
Arsenal third in the league did very well in the league in the month of March. They won four games consecutively and in the process scored nine goals and conceded two.
Coach Wenger has come under a lot of criticism for years on his management of the club and players but has in recent weeks has been able to overcome injuries and suspensions to put a team together each week to produce good performances week in week out.
This makes it the fourteenth time that Wenger has won the award during his nineteen years at Arsenal.
He has also helped Arsenal recover from an early season wobble to be back in contention for a top four finish and now they can even hope of claiming the title from current leaders Chelsea who have a game in hand with eight matches left to play.
French international Oliver Giroud did well in the month of match as he was able to score five goals including two against Newcastle and a goal each against West Ham, Everton and QPR.
