Owners and users of computer systems usually face the problem of their systems being infected with a virus.
The use of an antivirus is also some times not enough as most viruses can go unnoticed in a system causing a lot of havoc.
Below are signs that that can help users know if their system is affected due to a virus attack and will help them act fast in dealing with the problem.
YOUR SYSTEM IS UNSUALLY AND EXTREMELY SLOW
This could be due to a lot of files or tasks on your system, but if this is not the case it may be a virus infection. Your system takes a lot of time to perform tasks and execute programs because of this.
ADS POP UP RANDOMLY AND REGULARLY
While working or browsing on your system, a message will just come up or pop up from nowhere displaying an advert or a warning sign concerning your system. This could mean it has a virus infection or in some cases your system has been affected by a fake antivirus.
APPLICATIONS DO NOT START AND WORK
You try to run an application from the start menu and you get no response or another different application or program starts running and working. This could be due to a virus infection.
THE SYSTEM RESTARTS OR SHUTS DOWN ON ITS OWN
Your system that has been working fine overtime starts shutting down or restarts this could be as a result of poor maintenance of your system, but if this has been done regularly overtime it could mean a virus has affected the system.
In coping with such problems, you should be alert and monitor the performance of your system. A good antivirus should be purchased to help in giving early notification of an attack which will help in protecting your system.
