Porto will be hoping to pull off an upset as they host Bayern Munich in the first leg quarter final match of the UEFA Champions League.
Porto’s form has not been particularly bad as they have won two out of their last four matches but they are three points behind Benfica in the race for the Portuguese title.
Porto made it to this stage by knocking out Basel winning 5-1 on aggregate making it the first time of reaching the quarter finals since 2009 and will harbor hopes of going further and winning the title, which they last won in 2004.
Bayern come into this match as favorites and will hope to make it to the semi finals for a fourth time in a row.
Domestically, Bayern have been doing extremely well and seem to have got the Bundesliga title in the bag as they are 10 points ahead at the top of the table due to eight wins out of their last nine matches.
Porto know that they have a tough task ahead of them and will be worried as they may have the likes of Martinez and Tello missing the match which could make the task more difficult.
Bayern have their own share of injury worries as the likes of Robben, Ribbery, Alaba and Schweinsteiger are all out of the match.
